Kings Camo is expanding its footprint in the technical hunting space with the release of its new XKG Summit Series Packs, an all-purpose pack system built to handle everything from day hunts to extended backcountry trips.
Designed with versatility at the forefront, the lineup includes two models: the XKG Summit 2700 and the XKG Summit 5200. Both were developed and refined through multiple seasons of real-world testing, resulting in a system that balances durability, comfort, and serious load-hauling performance.
Rugged Durability
Built from 500D Cordura with a polyurethane-coated ripstop lining, which helps with waterproofing, durability and flexibility. The Summit Series is made to take abuse, whether that’s brush-choked ridgelines, heavy pack-outs, or unpredictable weather swings. Each pack is built on an external frame platform that allows for a highly customizable fit, with adjustable torso lengths, a sliding belt system, and extended strap adjustments to dial things in for a wide range of body types.
The XKG Summit 2700 is the streamlined option in the lineup, offering 2,700 cubic inches of capacity in a clean, low-profile design. A roll-top closure with snap-buckle security keeps things simple and efficient, making it a strong choice for day hunts.

For hunters pushing deeper or staying out longer, the XKG Summit 5200 steps up with 5,200 cubic inches of storage. It features a drawstring top with a snap-buckle overlap and a removable lid, giving users added protection from the elements along with extra organization for longer trips.
Thoughtful Functionality
Across both models, the feature set is built with function in mind. Oversized stretch pockets handle quick-access gear, while an internal hydration sleeve and mesh organization keep essentials in check. A full-length tombstone-style front zip provides easy access to the main compartment, and additional touches like a zippered front pocket, integrated frame shelf, cam/gun boot, and included rain fly round out a system designed to perform when it matters most.
According to Kings Camo’s Director of Digital Marketing and E-commerce, Andrew Pooch, the move into technical pack systems was a natural next step for the brand’s XKG lineup. After years of development and refinement, the goal was to deliver a pack system that not only complements their apparel but genuinely enhances the user’s experience in the field.
The XKG Summit Series Packs are available now through Kings Camo and select retailers nationwide.
