SHOT Show 2026 had plenty of new full-size handguns on display. Some were brand new, while others were established designs with new features. The Glock Gen 6 was a central attraction, while Beretta rolled out some new stuff for its 500-year anniversary.

The 92G Elite LTT II is a collaboration between Beretta and Langdon Tactical Technology. The intent was to produce the newest evolution of the classic Model 92 for competition or self-defense. It includes a factory cut of Langdon Tactical’s Low Mount RDO solution, an Inox slide with refined serrations, an Elite Inox barrel with a combat target crown, and enhanced frame machining.

The wraparound Vertec grip features Beretta’s Proprietary variable-density checkering. Ships with three magazines and an RMR optic plate with hardware.

Another Langdon Tactical collaboration, the Beretta 92G Elite Combat LTT features a Langdon Tactical slide, frame, and textured grips. Likewise, it includes a Toni System single-port compensator and flared mag well, a threaded barrel, a fiber-optic front sight, and three Toni System +4 magazine extensions.

Beretta B22 Jaguar Tac Metal

Beretta B22 Jaguar Tac Metal.

Beretta’s new B22 Jaguar Tac Metal is a modular .22 LR pistol designed for target shooting, plinking, or other needs. The chassis system allows for easy disassembly, cleaning, and customization. Ambidextrous controls, an ergonomic design, oversize bolt surfaces, and a new, semi-flat-faced trigger make it a good choice for any shooter. The Beretta B22 Jaguar Metal Competition was engineered in collaboration with the Scholastic Action Shooting Program and Tandemkross. It’s the first .22 LR pistol explicitly developed in partnership with the SASP. The result is a purpose-built steel-target competition pistol for shooters of any level.

In addition to the standard B22 features, the gun sports a Steam Demon compensator and Tandemkross Accelerator thumb ledge to reduce recoil and muzzle flip. The adjustable Tandemkross textured semi-flat-faced trigger provides extra control tailored to each shooter. Ships with interchangeable grips and three 15-round magazines.

The FN 309 MRD is the company’s new mid-priced defensive handgun. An internal hammer SAO design, the 309 MRD has a 3.8-inch barrel with a recessed target crown, a new grip texture, and models with and without a manual safety.

The gun has 25 percent less slide resistance than the FN 509 when running the action. In addition, it is compatible with RMR and DeltaPoint Pro optic footprints. Heckler & Koch’s VP9A1 X is the company’s newest variant in the well-regarded VP9 lineup. The VP9A1 X comes with either an Optic-Ready (OR) or Optic-Equipped (OE) slide. OR models ship with a tritium front sight and blacked out serrated rear sight. All OE models ship with blacked-out front and serrated rear sights. 8 mounting plate options are available for OR guns. OE guns are available with Holosun SCS or Vortex enclosed CCW optics.
