Ultra Low Gas Blowback, Built to Last

-

Suppressors are amazing tools to protect your hearing and create a more enjoyable shooting experience. Unfortunately, they typically create more gas blowback, which can be particularly frustrating for left-handed shooters. In the past, the solution for this was installing an adjustable gas block to tune your rifle or to use an ultra-low back pressure style suppressor. The downsides of these solutions are that not everyone wants to replace their gas block, and some ultra-low back pressure suppressors degrade more quickly than traditional models while offering inferior sound suppression.

New Rugged Suppressors Axial

That’s where the new Rugged Suppressors Axial comes in. The Axial is a multi-caliber rifle suppressor (5.56 to .300 RUM) designed for durability, reduced gas blowback, and excellent sound suppression. This is achieved through Coaxial Venting Technology, which channels nearly all firearm gases out the front of the suppressor. To maintain sound reduction, the Axial features a nearly 2” diameter to increase internal volume while remaining compact at 6.6”.

In terms of durability, the Axial is currently the only ultra-low backpressure suppressor using Cobalt 6 baffles enabling it to handle any rate of fire and last a lifetime. If you’re unfamiliar with Cobalt 6, it’s commonly used in aerospace applications for its resistance to abrasion and high temperatures, making it the most durable material for suppressors. In the unlikely event of an issue, the Axial is backed by Rugged Suppressors’ Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

Rugged Universal Mount

The Axial features universal threading (1.375×24, also known as HUB-compatible) and includes the Rugged Universal Mount (R.U.M.) and a 5/8×24 M2 Brake. For a lighter and shorter configuration, you can remove the R.U.M. and use Rugged’s Universal Direct Thread Mount (not included). This reduces the system length to approximately 5.7 inches and saves nearly 4 ounces. If you prefer or have already invested in another mounting system, it can easily be used with the Axial’s universal threads.

If you want to suppress your semi-auto or full-auto platforms without excessive gas blowback or compromised durability and sound suppression, the Axial is the can for you. Visit Rugged Suppressors’ website to learn more about how the Axial can elevate your shooting experience.
