SOG SEAL FX Fixed-Blade: Celebrating America’s 250th

-

The 250th anniversary of the United States transcends a single day. This is the kind of celebration that deserves an entire year. So, you are not too late to get your 250th gear, like the 250th Anniversary Limited Edition SEAL FX Fixed-Blade from SOG. The American company’s history in the United States, providing cutlery to our military and law enforcement, makes it only better.

With an American heritage dating back to 1986, SOG Knives has provided mission-ready and purpose-built knives to America’s fighting men and women for decades. So, it is entirely appropriate for the company to celebrate our nation’s anniversary with a limited-edition model.

Celebrating America’s grit, sacrifice, and unwavering resolve, the SEAL FX is forged and assembled entirely in the USA. However, in reference to our nation’s semiquincentennial, only 250 of the commemorative knives will be available. Likewise, each knife will be individually numbered for authenticity.

Stretching to an overall length of 9.20 inches, the full-tang SEAL FX maintains the classic, recognizable SOG look. Providing a secure grip are the rugged, textured, glass-reinforced nylon handle scales. Likewise, the exposed tang features a guard and aggressive jimping running the circumference of the grip for additional retention, even when wet. The handle finishes at the butt with a skull crusher and lanyard hole.

A 4.30-inch Tanto blade provides the business end of the SEAL FX. The high saber grind meets a swedge that runs half the length of the blade, connecting with aggressive jimping. Constructed of CPM S35VN steel, the blade delivers excellent edge retention, high toughness, corrosion resistance, and durability. A short, full-through fuller helps reduce weight and add a bit of that SOG style.

The Presentation side of the blade is what sets the SEAL FX apart. A commemorative banner adorns the high saber grind, with an American eagle flying over the text “250th Anniversary.” Just below is a banner with “United States of America” atop “1776 to 2026.” The scene is surrounded by the Betsy Ross flag to the left and the current flag to the right.

Each knife includes an ambidextrous Kydex sheath with multiple attachment options and a drain hole.
